Accomodations

We prefer traditional alpine charming accommodations.

As you might expect, there are good hotels in the villages we encounter and more rustic lodging higher in the mountains.

Therefore you should expect to share facilities, including bathrooms and showers, at several inns.

Anyway we've chosen the best: simple and absolutely clean.

What about travel

For each of our trip we include information on travel to the reservation confirm.

We normally meet at the Malpensa International Airport the first day, where we also end our trip.

We don't book air tickets at ALPtrek, but we can support you in finding the best travel solutions. We can also offer travel suggestions as you begin to plan your trip, including the possibility to anticipate and or extend your permanence in the area.

What's included

You can find detailed information in each trip itinerary.

The trip includes group transfers from and to the rendezvous point (generally the Milan Malpensa International Airport) to the starting point, mountain guides, all accommodations, all breakfasts, dinners, some lunches (as described in the details), all group transfers on lifts and buses as described in the itinerary, and the magic of the Alps!

Not included

Airfare, most lunches (we normally have pic-nic lunches along the trip), optional/individual transfers or excursions, items not on set dinner menu, beverages, particular insurance (we do have a general insurance on the trip: see below for more info), tips to guides/leaders, museum entrance fee, items of personal nature (phone calls, laundry, excess baggage charge, passport fees, etc.).

Allow roughly €300-€500 in additional costs, depending on trip an length.
